Our story starts at the Pharaoh Cinema in Independence in 2009. Founding Pastors Bobby and Vanessa Hawk planted EPIC Church with several volunteers and the goal to make Heaven more crowded. EPIC Church now has campuses in Independence, Missouri and Pontiac, Michigan, and operates EPIC Center KC.

At EPIC, our goal is to be a church that unchurched people love to attend.  Our hope is that you will feel right at home, regardless of your stage of life.  Our people are what make EPIC Church, EPIC!  Here you'll find a warm, friendly group of people committed to making church exciting, life-changing, and enjoyable.

Our attire is casual, but you can dress up if you feel more comfortable. Each Experience at EPIC includes dynamic Biblical teaching, a powerful time in worship and great programs for kids of all ages.  Each experience is approximately 60 minutes in length.
